Little Amy and Grandma Roxanne
Little Amy is 5 and her favourite place in the world is her Grandma's lake side cottage. They have a lot in common, especially their love for dancing, dress-up and chocolate chip cookies!
Grandma Roxanne is an extraordinary woman. She's an artist, singer, gardener, excellent baker and a collector of vintage fashion. She's happy, energetic and a great storyteller. She hates boring clothes and the color gray.
The dress-up dance party!
Amy's and Roxanne's favourite thing to do together is to go through Grandma's vintage closet and try on all the hats, dresses, gloves, feathers, boots and the list goes on! Of course, accompanied by orange juice in fancy glasses, because life's too short for the boring ones.
When the outfit is agreed to be Fabulous, Fantastic and Fierce, then it's time to transform the living room into the dance floor. This means picking the best groovy records to boogie and sing along to.
After swinging the feather boa, jumping from the sofa and swirling until everything is upside down, that's when they lie of the floor sharing what their music tour would be like as a girl band called Sparkly Trouble!
